Bedroom furniture paint can breathe life into old pieces. Start off by picking an inspiration piece from a magazine. If you really want a new bedroom set head out to the furniture store to see what is going on in the design world. You might not be able to replicate the exact wood tones but you can fix up your existing furniture so that it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. If you want a traditional room or you’d like to recreate a high end hotel space then refinish your furniture with a rich mahogany stain. If you want a country, shabby chic or feminine look then layer on paints and glazes for an aged effect. You can even glue on pieces of wood trim and appliqués before you start painting to change the line so your pieces and add more intricate detail.
There are bedroom paint colors that can create certain warmth and coolness inside your space. This idea is true especially for those who enjoy repainting their walls to go with a certain season. If you want to have a bedroom which will exude a warm ambiance, then a light yellow color will do for your room and get appropriate warm tone for your bedding and fabric colors that will best complement the room. Conversely, blue tones add coolness to the room. Light pink shades are another interesting color that you might consider and can be soothing.
