It is essential to consider two basic bathroom tile design elements while planning a small bathroom makeover. First the tile you choose for your bathroom should be a light color. Dark colors used for the walls, floor, or fixtures will make the room appear small and cramped. Use tile colors that are as close to white as possible. Small hints of color are acceptable when they are tan, pink, or pale colors. However, the basic background color should be white.
A warm color palette typically is invigorating, while a cool one is calming. It is important to note that analogous colors or neighbors on the color wheel tend to produce serenity, while complementary colors (which are across the wheel) tend to generate confusion. On the other hand, high-contrast color schemes, for example black and white, lends to a more formal look in the bath. On the other hand low-contrast combos, such as beige and shutter green, will create a more casual space. It is important that a homeowner selects bathroom paint color based on personal preference so as to allow for a feeling of relaxation and revitalization.
